This vintage Brinn Co. Santa Claus salt and pepper shaker set from the 1950s has that classic mid century charm, with two cheerful Santas. One is holding the word Merry and the other is holding Christmas, and they look adorable displayed together. Their bright multicolor finish and sweet expressions give them a nostalgic holiday feel that fits beautifully into any Christmas kitchen or vintage collection. They were made in Hong Kong and come with their stoppers. The material appears to be plastic, and although someone once suggested they might be bakelite, there is no confirmation of that. They do have a little light dirt here and there from age, which only adds to their vintage personality, and I’ll leave any gentle cleaning to their new owner so you can decide how much of that charming old holiday character you want to keep.
